A little bird told me...

I always seem to need birthday cards (probably because my parents keep cleaning me out every time they come to visit for their own friends!) and this cute little image was very spring-like.

The text and image stamps came in the same set free with the May 2015 Quick Cards Made Easy magazine. I coloured the image with watercolour pencils then cut out into an oval. I wrapped raffia around a piece of patterned paper and layered it on the card base, then added the image with foam adhesive. I stamped the sentiment onto strips of white card, layered them on to patterned paper and stuck them on to the card, using foam tape to get them to the same height as the image and a dab of glue to fix them to the image. To finish I added the pink gems.
